Potential problems and how you’re going to overcome them: As we are filming this in a dark park it will be difficult to maintain the correct lighting . The solution to this problem will be to get a torch or film in the park but closer to the post lamps. Also it will be difficult to make the make-up and costumes look scary. To overcome this problem we would search on-line how to do the correct make-up so we don't over do it.

Potential problems and how you’re going to overcome them: As we are making a long shot of the cast walking inside the park, it will be hard having the park empty , since is a public park. To overcome this we will have to be ready whenever there is a opportunity and also be quick because there will be a lot of people crossing the park  

Animatic for film opening feedback

 My group and I had to create an Animatic as part of my preparation for my horror film. Even though it was difficult to identify the different shot types, we had tried to use a range of shot types in order to make it productive as well as effective.  We used a storyboard to draw each scene  that will be seen in our film. We had to make sure that our pictures were as precise as we wanted so that the audience were able to see exactly what shot we were going to use.After I preformed my Animatic to the class and teacher I received some feedback. This included things that's went well and things that needed improvement. The things my classmates said that went well was the pictures matched with the sounds, which meant it was synchronized. They also said that the story line was really good because of the setting used and costumes. The settings used were an abandoned park which was a typical horror conventions. Things we had to improve on was the length of the video. This was because it was too short. We now know that we will have to include more shots or make the shots longer when filming the horror opening. Another suggestion we had was to not give all the story away and to remember is just the opening. To improve this we decided not to show the little girl at the end so the audience stays with the doubt of what happened. All of thee comments will help my group and I improve so that the our horror opening is better.

Film Pitch Feedback

We presented our idea to the classroom using Prezi, after our presentation everyone was asked to comment on it. They had to say what they liked and how they think would improve it. We received a variety of comments some good and some bad. They majority seemed to like the storyline, they said because it has a very scary affect. Everyone liked the idea of filming from the teenagers point of view because they said it was very interesting. We were also very practical on thinking about the problems.

The things we had improve was making sure we film when the park is open otherwise we wont be able to go inside. Also some suggestions were to Anker the camera to the body so is not that wobbly. We also have to show connection between the killer and the victim. We must use different camera angles to make it better For example: close up, long shot etc. To make the girl look more scary the teacher said to put eye contacts on the little girl and put very pale make up on her. When we are editing our classmates said we should fade the little girl to give her a ghost affect.

Film Pitch

IDEA

My team and I came up with an idea for our 2 minute horror opening.The main idea of our opening is a couple of teenagers going into an abandoned park. Where the male teenagers try take advantage of the girls. This is when a little girl in white appears. What they don't know is that the girl is not alive and that she is a ghost. We got the idea of the girl from the film the ring. We also show some throwbacks of what happened to the little girl and why she hates teenagers. This was because a long time ago when she was alive she was playing in the park and a couple of drunk teenagers abused of her and killed her.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Our target audience is 15+ which comes in the category of below 25. We decided the target audience based on the questionnaires research. We think is for both genders.

LOCATION

Our location will be Kennington Park. This is because at night is really dark which will give a more intense feeling to the audience. We also picked this park because there is a playground we could use and there are not a lot of people. This park has a lot of trees which will make it scary as the leaves will moves because of the wind.

PROPS

Fr our props and costumes we will need a white ,old fashion, long dress for the little girl to wear. It will be old fashion to show the girl is from the olden days. We will need makeup to make the little girl look more pale and dead. A torch will also be useful to give some light as the park will be very dark and there wont be no lights. We will also need a pillow , this is because we are going to film from the teenagers point of view. It will be as if they are filming from their phone so when the little girl comes they will drop the ''phone''. So the camera will need to fall into the pillow.

PROBLEMS

The problems that may occur could be weather. If it starts raining we will have to stop filming because we cant film part of the video raining and another part not raining. Another big problem will be people not showing up because we need other people to act for us so if they don't ruen up we wont be bale to proceed.Gettign corret shots also is quit a problem because is hard getting a perfect shot. The biggest problem is the camera battery running out. To prevent this we will have to make sure we charge it well

Horror Convention

Horror conventions

Location

 A good location is key in horror films. These are very important as it’s where the film is going to take place. This is usually in abandoned/ isolated places such as alleyways, old schools or somewhere that has a haunted past such as hospitals, parks. Having locations like these makes the audience feel as if the character is by themselves, this emphasise that there is no one around to help them. These type of locations can easily be portrayed as dark and mysterious in horror films. Horror films are usually set at night, this is because it makes it scarier when the audience don’t know what the scary obstacle is.

Characters

 In every horror film we have the typical characters. The typical characters are:

The victim which has 2 different forms of being presented. One of them is usually an innocent one. This character is usually smart and survives. The other type of victim is the opposite. They usually don’t care about life, they are more modern.

There's also another very important character which is the dumb blonde. This character is usually presented as dumb and stupid, which usually has a comical aspect because she is usually lost and doesn’t know what is going to happen to her. In horror film this is the character that usually dies first.

We also have what you could call the hero. This role is usually played by a man/boy. This man is usually strong and often popular, which shows a form of comfort. This is because he is usually helpful and known , in other words popular.

We finally have the killer. Is the majority of the film this is a mystery because during the film it keeps a hidden identity. This makes the audience be even more scared as they don’t know what will come up. Is usually a demon spirit or person that either want to say something but they don’t understand so the only way is killing or someone looking for revenge. When the killer is looking for revenge this is because they have being hurt in the past and they want to take revenge in their own hands.

Costumes

The costumes are a very important piece in horror films as these are used on characters in horror films to let us know what kind of character they are. The victims usually wear white or pale colour clothing. This helps show their innocence and purity. They usually also have long straight hair and wear a little bit of makeup so it looks natural. But we also have a different type of victim which will usually wear red or black/dark colours. They will be dressed with short tight revelling outfits. Most of the time they will have short hair or curly hair and they will have loads of makeup ( colourful eye shadow , red lipstick , loads of mascara, black thick eyeliner). The killer usually has a pale type of make up which shows us how much they have suffered. Also they have something unique which makes them stand out and be different from the rest.

Angles/ shots

Horror films contain a variety of different angles and shots. They often have a lot of close up and extreme close up, this is used so we can feel and see clearly what is happening.  This gives the audience a real sense of fright.            

They also use point of view shots, which makes the audience feel as though they are them. These are usually being given from the point of view of the victim or killer.

High and low angles are used so that they can show the hierarchy of the characters, also to show who dominated and to show the innocence of the victim .

Canted angles are also used during horror film. This gives the audience a dramatic effect to create a sense of disorientation. This makes us think something is not right and something bad will happen.

This am trying to make a profile for my ideal target audience. This will be someone around 14-20 year olds as that is the age group. I am going to tell you a rough idea on what I thing they should have. 

 My target audience favourite film will be mainly horror/thriller. Films like Mama, Insidious 2 , Saw etc. But also comedy/ teenage films since this is what teenagers usually enjoy watching. Films like Big Momma, White chicks, Step Up.    

 
  
On the weekends my target audience will usually rest form their hard week. They will usually be busy with coursework. When they have there free time they will go out with friends to go shopping, cinema or stay at home watching films.                               







The mode of transport of my target audience will usually be by bus.  This is because they are usually lazy to walk and is free.  On family outings they will usually travel by car.                         





























They will live in a flat of the council as it is the average place where a 14-20 years old person will live.                                                                                                          

Their favourite drink will be coke or any type of fizzy drink. This is because when your that age you don’t release is not healthy also because is very cheat .




Their Favourite TV show will be X Factor, Made in Chelsea. This shows are really common and most people from that age are interested in these.   


My target audience wont really have a favourite vegetable. They will eat the common type of vegetable such as tomatoes, cucumber, sweet corn and lettuce.                       

 The sports being watched or played by my target audience varies. It will be either football , basketball, swimming or gymnastics.        

               

 My target audience ideal place of vacation will be somewhere sunny. Where they can relax, sun bath , swim. Things you cant really do in London. This will be somewhere like Miami , Spain, Brazil etc.              

                                                                        

 The type of restaurants they will go to would be Fast Food such as Dallas, Morley's. They will also eat in Chinese shops.

Hello,my name is Fernanda Salazar.  Am 17 years old studying in LaRetraite RC Girls School. I am going to tell you what I enjoy doing and what I don’t like. This is an American fairy tale drama series. The show takes place in the fictional seaside town called Story brook. The plot of the story is actually characters from different fairytales which are transported to the "real world" town and robbed of their real memories by a powerful curse. Breaking Dawn part 2

 Breaking Dawn is an American romantic fantasy and adventure film. All three main cast members, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, reprise their roles, with Mackenzie Foy portraying Renesmee- Bella and Edwards daughter. This is the continuation of Breaking Dawn Part1. In this film Bella wakes up from her transformation from human to vampire, she now has  her new abilities. She also realises that Jacob has imprinted on her child, Renesmee. I really enjoy watching this film because it takes you away from reality. It helps you widen your imagination as it takes you through adventures. I have always being interested in vampire romance novels or fiction novels.

Hot chick

 This is my favorite film. Is Amazing. I can watch it countless times and not get bored. The hot chick is basically an American comedy film about a teenage girl whose body is magically swapped with a 30 year old criminal. The films stars Rob Schneider as the criminal, Rachel McAdams as the teenage girl, and her cheerleader friends, who search for her body while dealing with awkward social situations. I love this film because is really funny and is a teen movie.

Titanic

Titanic is a 1997 American epic romantic disaster film. Is a  fictionalized account of the sinking of the Titanic, it stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as members of two different social classes who fall in love aboard the ship. The film starts in 1996, treasure hunter Brock Lovett and his team aboard the research vessel Keldysh search the wreck of Titanic for a necklace with a rare diamond. They recover a safe and find inside a drawing of a nude woman wearing only the necklace. An elderly woman calling herself Rose Dawson Calvert claimed to be the person in the drawing visits Lovett, and tells them her experiences as a passenger on the Titanic. I absolutely love this film because it gives me an emotional message of the tragedy of Titanic and a love story interspersed with the human loss. No matter how many times I watch this film it will always make me cry.

She's the man

 

She's the man is an American romantic comedy film. The film is about Viola Hastings which is a high school soccer player at Cornwall, which has just cut its girls' soccer team. So she decides to  enter her brother's school in his place, pretending to be a male, in order to play in the boys' soccer team. This is another of my favorite films because its so hilarious and it don't have a lot of non- fiction because is a story it can actually happen in real life.

Lion king 2

The lion kind II is an American animated film by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is about Simba and Nala's daughter, Kiara, who strongly falls in love with Kovu, a male lion who was raised in a pride of Scar's followers and Simba's enemies, the outsiders. To be able to be together they must overcome the two obstacles that are keeping them apart: Kovu's mother, Zira, and Simba's prejudices against the Outsiders. I love this film because I use to watch it since I was little and now when I watch it is like it brings me back in time. also because it shows love, danger, actions etc.

I don't really like playing games I prefer to do other things. But there are a couple of games I enjoy. Am not the type of person to sit and play games when am free, so I usually just play these games on my Phone when am on the bus going somewhere.

Candy Crush Saga

Candy Crush Saga is a game that was released for Facebook, but then it was released for smart phones. This game is a variation of match-three games. Each level has a game board filled with differently colored candies, and might contain obstacles. The basic move of this game is horizontally or vertically swapping the positions of two candies, to create sets of three or even more candies of the same colour. I really like this game because is very challenging , although the first levels are quiet easy.

Fruit Ninja

Fruit Ninja is a video game. In Fruit Ninja, the player slices fruit with a blade controlled via a touch pad. As the fruit is thrown onto the screen, the player swipes their finger across the screen to create a slicing motion, attempting to slice the fruit in half. Players must slice all fruit. If three fruits are missed, the game ends. Bombs are occasionally thrown onto the screen, and the end will also end if the player slices them. I love this game because is very challenging because you have to be extra quick with your moves so that you don’t miss a single fruit.

FAVOURITE RADIO

I love listening to the radio when am tidying up , relaxing or doing my work. Also when there's no one I always put it on so the house is not to quiet. Here are some of the radio stations I like to hear.

WhatsApp Messenger is a instant messaging subscription service for smart phones. In addition to text messaging, users can send each other images, video, and audio media messages. I am always using this to keep in touch with friends. Is very convenient because it I can send pictures to my friends or family straight away.

Instagram  

Instagram is an online photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, apply digital filters to them, and share them on a variety of social networking services, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr. I started using Instagram just to take pictures and edit them but after time I started following friends and they followed me back so now i use it as a social networking site as well. I usually check my Instagram on the bus and see what friends post.

YouTube is a video-sharing website, on which users can upload, view and share videos. Youtube displays a wide variety of user-generated video content, including movie clips, TV clips, and music videos, as well as amateur content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos. I use this to watch novels or to hear music.

BOOK & MAGAZINES

I don’t really enjoy reading books or magazines. But I have read some and this is because they really caught my attention and they are really good books. Instead of books or magazines I prefer the newspaper which I often read every morning.

Twilight

Twilight is a young-adult vampire-romance. It is the first book of the twilight series, and introduces seventeen-year-old Isabella "Bella" Swan, who moves from Phoenix, Arizona to Forks, Washington and finds her life in danger when she falls in love with a vampire, Edward Cullen. I loved reading book because it was full of mystery and adventure. It describes everything that happens in details which makes me have a clear image of the story.
